So back about 6 or so years ago during a boozy night at the Annandale when we first started kicking around the idea for Revolution Rock, we never knew that today we’d still be doing the shows let alone traveling around Australia putting on these gigs, workingwith amazing bands and making great friends along the way. 2012 is a big year for all things Strummer for us. Firstly it’ll be 10 years since Joe passed away and it’s also going to be some of the biggest Revolution Rock shows we’ve done ever! Most exciting is that we’ll be heading over to the UK and will be attendance at the Strummer of Love festival put on by the excellent folk at the Strummer Charity where we’ll be checking out the likes of The Pogues, Mick Jones, Root Manuva, Billy Bragg, Frank Turner and more in the lovely fields of Sommeset.

As you can tell we’re super stoked to be attending a once in a life time event!

As for Revolution Rock,  we’ll be announcing our dates and venues soon. We don’t want to give away too much but we can tell you that they’ll be some old faces and some new ones playing on stage. Also some of you folk who live outside of Sydney or Melbourne may not have to travel
as far this time around to be part of these shows.

One last bit of house keeping, from August 9th our online store will be taken offline as the whole crew will be away in the UK so we can’t process orders. We’ve decided to keep the store offline for a period of time as we’re putting together a new shopping system for the site where we
can start offering digital music downloads as well. This will give us more options on how we’ll deliver music to you good folks and will  be very exciting times!
