A bunch of punk ska bands touring over the Queens B’day long weekend? Pretty sure that’s never been done before…
We thought it had been too long since our mates Phat Meegz played up here so we thought we’d smash out 5 shows in 4 days through Sydney and Newcastle and we’re also bringing our favorite band Everything I Own Is Broken along for the ride.
We’re kicking things off on Friday June 7th at the Gladstone with Phat Meegz, Cap a Capo, Everything I Own Is Broken, Swine and Riot 9.
The next day we’ll be hitting up the Croat Club in Newcastle with Phat Meegz, Amateur Drunks, Everything I Own Is Broken and Alex Party Cat.
On Sunday June 9th we’ll be back in Newtown at Black Rose Books for a nice intimate day show with Phat Meegz, Everything I Own Is Broken, Year Of Scummery , Tom Lawson and Alex Party Cat. (This show will be all ages.)
Later that evening we’ll be partying on a warehouse show (location will be announced closer to the date) in Sydney with Phat Meegz, Everything I Own Is Broken and more to be announced.
On the Monday we wrap things up at PUNK INDOORS #1 which will be a massive free arvo/night show at the Town & Country Hotel. Playing will be Phat Meegz, Obat Batuk, Ivan and the Backpackers, Everything I Own Is Broken, Tom Lawson and Alex Party Cat.
